Potty Park - the best indoor dog potty!
I have three of these indoor potties for the Elfin dogs and I have to say that they have been simply the best alternative potty facilities I have tried in 18 years of breeding Silks. The dogs just love these indoor potties. With piddle pads, once a dog has peed on it, no one else wants to step on to use it. With the PottyPark, it's just like outside...one pees, everyone else wants to add their mark. They are easy to use and relatively easy to clean. To keep mine odor free, I have 2 grass mats for each one...so I can clean and alternate them.
I spray them down once or twice daily with a pump style garden sprayer, empty and rinse the drawer then spray it with PottyParks super Green odor eliminator. Once or twice a week, depending on usage, I just roll the grass up, put it in the Potty Park's new laundry bag and toss it in my front loader washing machine with a little detergent. They come out clean and odor-free. Potty Park has new grass that is really outstanding...flexible, thick, lush and the urine just runs right through it.
When it rains or the grass is wet with dew, my prima donna dogs prefer indoor facilities and, with the PottyPark, the dogs no longer have accidents (why do we call inappropriate elimination 'accident' when the dogs obviously do it on purpose???) on the floor. They are not inexpensive but are well worth the peace of mind. I am so glad not to be going through cases of piddle pads any more.
Note: I was using litter pans to start puppies but, after watching my last litter literally housebreak themselves...it's amazing to watch the little pups just do it on their own...I started my current litter directly on the Potty Park grass from the beginning! At 4 weeks, they are using the grass 100%...not a single accident! Just watch...

Three days after the Silk puppies turned 5 weeks, I put the Potty Park under the grass mat and they took to it immediately. They have been using it consistently ever since!
